So it starts out like this. I am 28 weeks along and having contractions. I started having them last night around the time I went to bed, and they did not stop today.
We decided to call my doctor and they told me to go up to the OB department and get checked out. It was a pain to try to find out what to do with the kids. Thankfully we have good friends. One of our friends was happy to take them and really enjoyed them. She said that they were very easy to take care of, she loved watching them and said that she would gladly take them again if needed. She lives one block from us and I am her visiting teacher, we also know her from the singles ward in Snowflake. Anyways, we got to the hospital and the hooked me up to the fetal monitor and an IV. With the IV they had to poke me 3 times before they finally got it to stay. I felt a lot like swiss cheese after wards. LOL!!! They watched me for 5 hours and gave me some medicine to stop the contractions. When we headed up they were 20 minutes apart then when we got there and hooked up they were 3 minutes apart and were really concerned that if they did not stop that they would end up airlifting me to Phoenix to have the baby. I was getting worried. Kent then called his mom and she called his dad. Thankfully he was next door at Wal-Mart getting some stuff, he came over and helped Kent give me a blessing. I am so grateful for the gospel and the priesthood and my hubby. Thank you everyone for your prayers. They released me around 7 p.m. and said that if they continue like they were before to go back up and then they will decided what to do from there. Again, thank-you to all of those who helped and said prayers for us.

Glad they were able to stop the contractions. Hope it doesn't happen again. It's way too early for that little girl to get here. We'll keep praying for you both.
