Reagan Jaye Palmer

Well Reagan decided to come, finally. She was born on Monday March 29, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. She weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long. We are so glad that she is here. I started laboring around 12 in the afternoon on Sunday, we went walking around town for an hour and I was having contractions pretty regular. When we got home from walking they were calming down, but I was not experiencing any movement from her, so to be safe than sorry, we decided to head in. When we got there I was 4 cm dilated. I stayed that way for the longest time. They made me walk the hospital halls for 3 to 4 hours. I think that I can now walk the halls blind folded. LOL!! After the last time of walking they offered me the epidural, and the pit. I took it, hoping that it would help me along the way. They let me hop in the shower before I got the epidural. After wards, the anathesologist got there and gave me the epidural, then after about 20 minutes they started the pit. At the time of this going on I was finally 6 cm. I was tired, so decided to get some sleep when the nurse came to check on me and put a monitor on her head, cause she could not get her on the monitor that was on my stomach. When she went to put it on her head, she freaked out, Reagan's head was almost out. She told me not to push, and told some one to get the doctor here now!!! By the time the doctor got there, Reagan was almost all the way out. He got me into position and told me to say UGH, a few times, then after about 3 or 4 times of saying that, he told me to start singing I am a Child of God. She was here!!! I did not have to push at all, she came all on her own.
Well enough of that, here are some pictures...................

.One Birthday Wish.

So today I am 23 years old. Wow, I feel so old. LOL! Kent and I have been together for 4 1/2 years. We have 2 beautiful little angels with one still cooking in the oven. I was hoping that I would have all 3 of my little girls by now, but Reagan has decided to stay in there until she feels she is finished. I am so thankful for my family and all of the support that they give me in all that I do. My kids are my pride and joy. My hubby is the love of my life and my main support line. Kent has been doing so well not to complain about the house. I know that I have not been able to keep up with it as much as I should, but he stills loves me and understands what I am going through. I am so thankful for that understanding. I try to do as much as my back will let me do. We have a doctor appointment on Wed. to see if I had made any progress in the last week. I am now 38 weeks along and still plugging along with this pregnancy. Reagan likes to sit right in my pelvis and hit me in the bladder, then kick me in the side, or the ribs. The joys of being pregnant.
My birthday wish for this year would be........................
For my family to be together and to be happy with what I do have in life!!!

.38 weeks and still counting.

Okay so I am 38 weeks along and still pregnant. I am having contractions still, and dilated to 3 cm almost 4 cm, still thick. The waiting game is so long and drawn out. I am ready for her, my doctor will have to induce me by April 3rd. Only time will tell, I have another doctor appointment on Wed. I hear that the inducing process is so much harder than going into labor yourself, I am a little afraid of both. You'd think that I would not be, with this one being my 3rd baby. Wish me luck!!!!!

.A new addition.

So my sister had her baby on the 18th of March. He weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz and was 20 inches long and was born at 8:18 that night. My sister is so excited to have him here, so is the rest of the family. He is the first grandson and the first nephew on my side of the family. My niece, Zurri, is not too sure about him, but she will get used to having a little one in the house. Here are some pictures of Logan Ray McNeil...
Another thing that I just thought of was my niece kept trying to give me the baby, we think that she thought that he was mine, until my sister started to nurse him then she started to understand that it was her mommy's baby and not Aunt Kassy's.
We love her, she is a silly little 2 year old. Congrats to Amanda and Tug!!!!!

Day at the Park

After twisting Kent's arm to get out of the house for some much needed R & R we went to Snowflake and spent some time with the girls on the jungle gym. Ashton and Kim loved the slide and swings and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Here are a few pictures of the girls on the slide.

.Still Waiting.

I am still waiting for Reagan to make her grand appearance. Kent is ready for his vacation. School is going great for both of us, we are still plugging along with it. I am so ready for Reagan to come, I cannot bend, I lose my breath easily, and I cannot stand for long periods of time. I as big as I can get. I will be 38 weeks on Saturday and I have a doctor appointment on Monday, so I have to wait it out until then.

.Favorite Places.

I am so not happy about this pregnancy. I had to go to the hospital once again Friday night. I had contractions every 2 to 5 minutes. So we decided to go up to the hospital and check everything out. We would rather be safe than sorry, so we went up and found out that I was not crazy and that I was contraction on a regular bases. They had me walk the halls of the hospital for 2 hours and I really did not change. I am so unhappy about it. I keep telling myself that the Lord knows when she is able to come and make her grand entrance. I am so ready and I know that Kent is ready too. The kids are doing well, and are excited for little Reagan. I got all the stuff ready for her and the girls are excited to see this new baby stuff around. They think that it is there for their baby dolls, and we have to explain to them that it is for baby Reagan. We are just waiting it out with this pregnancy. So wish us luck!!!

.The Doctor is OUT.

So I went to the doctor's today and he said that I could not have the baby next week because he was not going to be there. He is going on a vacation with his family. I wish that I could go and have this baby tonight, but he said that if I go before Monday that they will still ship me to the valley. The hospital is really strict on when they will take you and let you have the baby up here. I have to be more than 37 weeks to have the baby in the hospital up here. He said that he also does not like missing his patients deliveries. I do not blame him, he has been there through the whole thing, why not be there till the end. He is a great doctor, we have really enjoyed having him there through this pregnancy. The nurse asked me today if this was the last baby for us, I told her that it will be for at least a few years. I am still young and have awhile before I really need to worry about my age. I will only be 23 on the 26th of this month, so I have a few years still. Even though I told Kent that I wanted to be done having kids when I hit 30 years old. He said that that was fine. He said that he would go for that. I am so glad that I have him in my life too. He has been there through the thick and the thin with me, and it has only made us stronger in the end. Well I hope that every one has a good night, I know that I will, I am going to go soak in the tub then hit the hay. Have a great night!!!

.Full-term.

I am so ready for Reagan to get here. I am considered full-term to my doctor. I got see him on Wed. and I really hope that he gives me something that I am really looking for, like you are dilated and effaced so much that you can go any day now. Kent is ready for his vacation, as I was informed today. I am ready for him to be here to help with the girls too. We are so glad that he has this job and the opportunity to take this much time off with out losing his job and get paid for it. Wish me luck!!!!!
